Raymond Norman

Mr. Raymond Norman, 69, of Maurice, LA, passed away peacefully at the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jennings, LA.  Mr. Norman was born on June 28, 1957, to the late Karbert Norman and Eula Mae Broussard Norman.  Mr. Norman served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge.

Raymond is survived by his son, Raymond Norman Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona; a devoted cousin, Glenda Marie Gumbs Dalcour of Rayne, LA; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; his friends in the communities of Ridge, LA and Maurice, LA; and his comrades and friends at the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jennings, LA.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Karbert & Eula Norman, and his siblings; a devoted cousin, Jacqueline Cobb Dartez.

Graveside services with military funeral honors will be accorded by the United States Army at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings, LA at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 9. 2026, under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA
