The final curtain has been drawn, but all of our lives are much richer because we were touched by the life and death of Mrs. Remona T. Davis on May 10, 2020.  The death angel came and bore the bright spirit of Remona T. Davis away to a land that is free from sickness, sorrow, pain, and death.  Remona T. Davis was born on February 11, 1947, to the late Nathan & Mary A. Thibodeaux, Sr. in Lafayette, LA.  She was baptized by the late Dr. Jeff Peterson of Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Jennings, LA.  She later united with Union Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Gerald W. Perkins, Sr.  Remona graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in Jennings, LA.  She worked as a homemaker and was a member of the Celestial Choir.  She never met a stranger and was kind and compassionate to everyone she met.  Her favorite words were "If I can help somebody as I travel along the way, then my living shall not be in vain."
Preceding her in death were her parents, Nathan & Mary R. Thibodeaux, Sr; sister, Mrs. Sandra T. Blair; brothers, Nathan Thibodeaux, Jr. and Timothy R. Thibodeaux
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 46 years, Arthur C. Davis; son, Brandon K. Davis; brother, Donald (Mona Lisa) Thibodeaux; sister, Bertha M. Thibodeaux; niece, Angela A. Blair, all of Jennings, LA and a host of cousins and friends.
