Richard Celestine Jr., 81, transitioned from this earthly place to his heavenly home on December 9, 2020, at Camelot Brookside Nursing Home.  Richard was born on December 7, 1939, in Jennings, Louisiana to the late, Mazel Evans and Richard Celestine Sr.  Before his illness, he worked as a Farmer and Handyman.

Richard leaves to cherish his memories, one brother, Jerry Celestine (Yvonne) of Jennings; three sisters, Delores Celestine, Margaret Williams, and Raven Celestine, all of New Iberia, LA.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Mazie Evans-Celestine and Richard Celestine, Sr; one sister, Lois Ann Plaisse.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am at Semien-Lewis Mortuary in the Church Chapel with Reverend Gerald Perkins, Sr. officiating.  Visiting will be in the chapel from 9:00 am until the time of services.
