Ronnie Hamilton

Mr. Ronnie Hamilton, 74, a resident of Jennings, LA, passed away at Landmark Rehabilitation Center in Rayne, LA, on June 27, 2026. Ronnie worked at the Jennings Garment Factory for many years and at the Holiday Inn until his retirement.  He was a faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, pastored by Reverend Jude Fernando, TOR.

Ronnie is survived by his devoted wife of 14 years, Mrs. Veronica James Hamilton; one brother, Joseph Arnette Hamilton; 9 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Melva Livingston Hamilton & Arnette Hamilton; four sisters, Anner Belle (Paul) Malveaux, Joann (Paul) Tizano, Dorothy (Kenneth) Wilson, and Mary (Lone) Davis; four brothers, Vant Boutte, Norbert (Dorothy) Boutte, Edward (Patranetta) Netty, and Lionel Hamilton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2026, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 920 South Broadway Street in Jennings, LA.  Pastor Reverend Jude Fernando, TOR, will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA.
