Mrs. Rose Mary Capdeville
, age 69, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Jennings American Legion Hospital. She was a native of Jennings, LA., and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Mrs. Capdeville was a cook for a number of years for the Jeff Davis Parish School System.
Mrs. Capdeville was born on June 1,1947 to the late Wildon and Martha Vickers Edwards.
Mrs. Capdeville is survived by her husband, John Capdeville Sr.; her daughter, Jonie (Sherard) Benoit of Jennings, LA. Four brothers, Douglas, Michael, and Reginald Edwards all of Jennings, La.; and Fonont Edwards of Baton Rouge, LA.; one sister, Wanda (Terry) Simon of Jennings, LA.; two grandchildren, Da'Ron Strauss and Mia Benoit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wildon and Martha Vickers Edwards; two brothers, Bobby and Herbert Edwards; and her son, John Capdeville Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the David J. and Rosa W. Fondel Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary in Jennings, LA. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM in the chapel until the time of service. Service is under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
