Ms. Rosella "Mutt" Dugas, 49, was called from her earthly labor to her heavenly reward on Monday, October 28, 2019, at the Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Plaquemine, LA.  Rosella was born on December 23, 1969, to her loving parents, the late Woodrow Dugas and Margaret Pattum-Dugas.  Rosella was a former Custodian at Jennings High School until her illness.  She accepted Christ at a young age at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Mermentau, LA pastored by the late Reverend Willie Pitre.

Rosella leaves to cherish her memories, four children, Antionette Dugas (Antonio), Antonio Dugas, Cha'Mia Smith, and Ty'Quan Smith; two brothers, Jerry Arceneaux (Evelena) and John Arceneaux, Jr. (Faye); three sisters, Elizabeth Beriod (Walter), Geraldine Arceneaux (Albert), and Veronica Arceneaux (Billy); four grandchildren, Jamell Broussard, Ariana Trahan, Khloe Dugas, and Syncir Redding.

Rosella was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow & Margaret Pattum-Dugas, nephew Darren Arceneaux, and sister Shirley Arceneaux.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street, Jennings, LA.  Reverend Irving Mouton will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary.  Burial will be in the Mermentau Cemetery in Mermentau, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
