Rosena Davis Lee, 91, a native of Patoutville, LA., and a resident of Jennings, LA. passed away peacefully in her home on October 18, 2014. She was a member of Mt. Triumph Baptist Church pastored by Reverend Carl Fontenot Sr. and served as a Deaconess, member of the Mission Ministry, former member of the Finance Committee, and was a former President of the Usher Ministry. Rosena was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and the American Heart Association. She retired Nanny and Housekeeper. Rosena is survived by her son Albert J. (Deborah) Lee of Oberlin, LA; daughters Retired SSgt. Maggie R. Brown of Wichita Falls, TX., and Ayana E. Lee of Jennings, LA; stepson Micah Cahee-Lee of Roanoke, LA; grandchildren, 1st Sgt. Makishicha Lee, Michael Lee, Marcus Lee, Curtis Lee, Sharon White, Sametta Brown, Conridge Brown, Enez B. Holmes, Franzetta Brown, Tamela Lee, Albert Brown, Ronald Perry, Ashley Lee, Ivy Lee, Raneca Lee, Antoine Allen, and Zemetta Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband, James N. Lee; daughter, Maureen Lee; son, J. Ronald Lee; three brothers, Alvin, Albert, and Evan Davis; three sisters Caroline, Evelina, and Mahalia. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, October 25, 2014 in the David J. and Rosa W. Fondel Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary in Jennings, LA. Visitation will be in the Church Chapel from 8:00 am until time of Funeral Services. Burial follow in Parkview Cemetery under the direction of Semein-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings.
