It is with a heavy heart that the family of Rosie Lee Barr-Massey, 96, of Jennings, LA announce her passing.  Rosie was born on December 17, 1928, in Brewster, Florida to the late Lugine Young and Elbert Wade Barr Sr.  She was formerly employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant until her retirement.

Rosie is survived by her daughter, Debbie Isbell; four sons, Clyde Houston Massey, John Timothy Massey, Robert Massey, and Jimmy Taylor; a host of other relatives and friends.

Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Massey, Sr; her parents Lugine Young and Elbert W. Barr Sr; one daughter, Pamela Massey; one son, Douglas Massey, Jr.

Rosie's wishes were to be cremated.  Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.
