Mrs. Ruth Marie (Wright) DeBlanc, 81 Mrs. Ruth M. DeBlance, a native of New Iberia, LA., and a resident of Lake Charles, LA., died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Christus St. Patrick Hospital. Ruth was a member of the Woodbury Congregational Church of Christ of Lake Charles, LA., pastored by Reverend Morris C. Lewis, where she served as an Usher. She was a former employee of St. Patrick's Hospital in the Housekeeping Department. Survivors include, six daughters, Delores D. Turner of Lake Charles; Barbara Ann Johnson of Austin, Tx; Toni Eaglin of Lake Charles, La.; Evelyn (Donald) Broussard of Lake Charles, La.; Janice (Gregory) Banks of Houston, Tx.; and Sylvia (Leroy) Cole of Kinder, La.; and Godchild Ashley Milligan of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by both parents, Claude and Bertha Wright; and her husband, James DeBlanc. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Woodbury Congregational Church of Christ of Lake Charles, LA with Reverend Morris C. Lewis officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of Funeral Services. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
