Ms. Sheneak Myrtle Sams, 34, of Roanoke, Louisiana, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital while surrounded by her family and friends.  She was born on October 16, 1986, in Jennings, Louisiana to Carliss and Craig Sams.  Sheneak graduated from Welsh High School in 2005.  She worked as a Caregiver and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Sheneak liked cooking, eating crawfish, and doing hair.

Sheneak is survived by her daughter, De'Shanti Soularie; three sons, De'Andre Soularie, Jr., Da'Vonne Sams, and Jorryan Walker; her parents, Carliss & Craig Sams of Roanoke, LA; her siblings, Harold (Ashley) Johnson of South Carolina, Craig Sams, Jr., Devondrick Sams, and Jaylin Sams, all of Roanoke, LA; grandmother, Emelda Duplessis of Jennings, LA; one uncle, Chad (Mary) Lute of Washington, DC; her Godmother, Tyra Williams of Lake Charles, LA; her Godfather, Ryan Thibodeaux of Roanoke, LA; her aunts, Darlene Henry of New Orleans, LA., April Segura of Welsh, LA., and Latricia (Michael) Spry of Texas City, TX; her uncles, Clarence (Annette) Henry and Equine Henry both of Jennings, LA., Tracy (Tracy) Segura of Baton Rouge, LA. and Henry (Nicole) Segura of Tallahassee, FL; a host of cousins, and friends.

Sheneak was preceded in death by her grandfather, Clarence Henry, Sr; her grandmother, Estella Lute; her aunt, Katrenna Williams.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 2, 2021, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street, Jennings, LA.  Minister Tracy Segura will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be in the Chapel from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Celebration Services.  The burial will be in Saint James Cemetery in Roanoke, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
