Mrs. Shirley Marie (Francis) Batiste, 65 Shirley Marie Batiste was born on May 12, 1947 in Roanoke, Louisiana to Willie Francis and Josie Lee. God in his infinite wisdom called Shirley from labor to eternal rest on May 1, 2013 at the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Shirley was married to Leroy John Batiste Sr. and lived most of her life in Jennings, LA. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Jennings, LA., pastored by Reverend Celsius Offor. Her funeral will be Tuesday, May 7,2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will be in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church Cemetery. Shirley leaves to cherish her memories; two sons, Leroy John Batiste Jr (Tiffany Berry), and George Batiste, both of Jennings; four daughters, Jena Brown of Crowley, Danyelle Moore, Tracy Batiste (Wilton Ason)of Jennings, Lisa Batiste of Lake Charles.
