Shirley Lee Carrier, 72 died on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. Shirley was a resident of Lake Charles, LA and a native of Lafayette, LA. She was born on March 23, 1942 to Coray Bell Marshall and Leo Carrier. Shirley is survived by her three sons, Kenneth Ray Malone, William Joseph Carrier, and Zackary Greg Carrier; one brother, Elvin "Harold Boy" Simien Sr; two sisters, Carol Ann Simien and Kimberly Ann Pete; one Godchild, Clarence Williams Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman & Lillie Bell Simien; stepmother Coray Bell Marshall; her common law husband, Albert "June" Lewis; two sisters, Lillie Mae Taylor and Thelma Gail Rougeau; three brothers, Martin "Bubby" Simien, Joseph "JV" Simien, and Herbert Guillory. Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Unity Baptist Church in Lake Charles, LA.
