Skyler Kent Gatte, 39, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.  Skyler was born on May 15, 1985, in Jennings, LA to Susan Daigle and Michael Cloud.  He was educated in the Jefferson Davis Parish School System and was later self-employed as a Carpenter for the past 15 years.  Skyler was a loving father, son, brother, and friend.

Skyler leaves to cherish his memories, one child, Ellie Nunez (Skylynn Gatte); his mother, Susan Daigle Smith; two brothers, Cody Gatte and Shawn LaComb; seven sisters, Kecia Lapoint (Jimmy), Heather Gatte, Alicia Charpentier (Job), Miranda Gatte, Michelle LaComb, Ashley Cloud, and Sheila Daigle; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great -nephews, and friends.

Skyler was preceded in death by his father, Michael Cloud; his paternal grandparents, Winona & Joe Cloud; his maternal grandparents, Mary & Ray Daigle; his niece, Mia Lopez; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, June 21, 2024, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary in Jennings, LA.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Jennings, LA under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
