Tracy Jones, 59, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Saturday, May 8, 2021.  Tracy was born in Lake Charles, LA and was a life-long resident of Jennings, LA.  He was born on July 26, 1961 to the late Wilton Jones, Sr. and Elizabeth Alexander Jones.  Tracy married the love of his life, Hattie Morrow Jones who preceded him in death.  Tracy was an accomplished guitarist and was a member of the church choir.  He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Mermentau, LA, pastored by Dr. Stacy S. Poullard, where he served as a Deacon and Guitarist in the Choir.  Tracy was a self-employed laborer until he became disabled.

Tracy is survived by his adopted children, Quanettre Thomas - niece, Tiejay Handy - niece, Andre Adams - nephew, Michael Williams - nephew, and Marcus Williams - nephew; his brothers, Barnaby Jones (Lisa) of Jennings, LA., and Alvin Jones of Jennings, LA; his sisters, Sarah Jones (James), Wilda Jones, Mary Mouton, Alfreda Jones, all of Austin, TX., Linda Jones (Arthur Lee) of Crowley, LA., Glenda Redeaux, Viney Edwards, Janet Jones, all of Jennings, LA., Angelique Ramos of Lafayette, LA., Patricia Jack  of Lake Charles, LA., Diana Bonner, and Barbara Gordon of Bay City, TX.

Tracy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hattie Morrow Jones; his parents, Elizabeth Alexander Jones and Wilton Jones, Sr; his brother Wilton Jones, Jr.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street, Jennings, LA.  Reverend Dr. Stacy S. Poullard will officiate.  Visiting will be in the chapel from 9:00 a.m. until the time of religious services.  Burial will follow in Peterson Memorial Cemetery, Jennings, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
