Tyrone James Rubin, 37 Tyrone James Rubin, 37, was called from his earthly labor to his heavenly reward on June 3, 2014 at Christus St. Patricks Hospital in Lake Charles, LA. Tyrone was born on June 11,1976 in Jennings, LA. to Joan Bernard Rubin and Robert Rubin. He was a graduate of McNeese State University, where he served as President of Kappa Kappa Psi Fraternity from 1998 to 1999. He was a former teacher with the Jefferson Davis Parish School System Crowley Schools, and Calcasieu Parish Schools. Tyrone accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, where he served as a musician and Youth Director. His survived by his loving Mother, Joan Bernard Rubin, of Jennings, LA; two brothers , Cardero Ray Rubin and Garrin Andrew Rubin, of Jennings; two sisters, Denitra Constantine and Lillie Rubin; Aunt, Betty Bernard of Jennings; Uncles Randy Bernard of Jennings, Claude Bernard, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Felton (Odessa) Rubin, New Orleans, LA., Edward (Paula) Rubin of Lake Charles, Jane Rubin Treadwell of Ronoake, LA. He was predeceased in death by his father, Robert Rubin, Sr; paternal grandparents, Ethel Rubin and Rodney Rubin, Sr; maternal, grandparents, Ruby Bernard and Claude Bernard Sr; Uncle, Shelby Rubin and Aunt, Theresa Brown Rubin. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 1:00 pm in Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with Pastor Rev. Carl S. Fontenot Sr. officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 9:00 am until time of Funeral. Burial will be in the Benevolent Cemetery in Jennings, LA., under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
