Virgie Premo 88 Virgie Premo was called from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Saturday, October 08, 2011 at Jennings American Legion Hospital. Virgie was born on February 22, 1923 in Branch, LA., to the late Lee Lyons and Katie Bias Lyons. She was a resident of Mermentau, LA., and a devoted member of Union Baptist Church under Pastor Reverend Gerald Perkins where she served as a Deaconess. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Union Baptist Church in Jennings, LA., with Reverend Gerald Perkins, Pastor officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral. She is survived by two daughters; Delores Lyons Jones of Crowley, LA., and Dona (Lester) Stinson of Elton, LA., two sons; Donald Premo, of Las Vegas, NV., and Harold (Jacqueline) Primeaux, two sisters; Joyce (Morris) Botley of Lake Charles, LA., and Minnie Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband; Shafter Premo, two sons; Billy Primeaux and Larry White and her parents.
