Mr. John Edward Vital, 75, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020, in Jennings American Legion Hospital.  John was a native of Welsh, LA and a resident of Jennings, LA.  He was born on September 23, 1944, to the late Adam Joseph Vital and Mable White-Vital.  He was a graduate of Bethune High School, Welsh, LA.  John was a retired Delivery Driver for Stines Lumber Company.

Everyone that knew him loved him so much.  He loved watching wrestling and John Wayne movie.  He was a God-fearing man and he served as a Deacon at Immanuel Worship Center and Love of Christ Ministries.  He loved his family and his neighbors.  John had a unique laugh that would make you laugh.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Adam & Mable  Vital; two sons, Anthony Vital and Miles Allen; two sisters, Emma Lou Vital-Eaglin and Stella Vital.

He leaves to mourn his memories,his loving wife of 34 years, Mrs Allison Ann Scott-Vital; six sons, John Vital, Jr. of Sioux Falls, SD., Paul Vital of Tyler, TX., Clarence Allen of Lamarque, TX., Reginald Allen of Lake Charles, LA., Troy Barker of Larmarque, TX., and Trevonte Leger of Jennings, LA; four daughters, Franchesca Michelle Vital-Young of Sioux Falls, SD., Tiffany Vitals of Edwardsville, KS., DeShane Jack of Jennings, LA., and Connie Leger of Shreveport, LA; his brothers, Adam (Barbara) Vital of Fort Worth, TX., and David Vital of Welsh, LA; his sisters, Mrs. Betty Dias of Sulphur, LA and Wilma Vital of California; a host of nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.

A drive-by viewing & visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2020, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street, Jennings, LA.  A private graveside service will be held following the viewing.
