Walter Bias, 80 Mr. Walter Bias was a native of Jennings, LA., died on December 1, 2011 in Beaumont, TX. Mr. Bias was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Welsh, LA. He is survived by four daughters, Joyce Bias & Penalope Bias of Beaumont, TX. and Irma Bias & Diane Bias of Orange, TX; seven sons, Jesse Bias of Orange, TX., Walter Bias Jr of Brennham, TX., Dwight Bias of Corpus Christy, TX., Esba Bias & Larry Bias of Washington, TX., and Bryan Davis of Welsh, LA; one brother, Edward Bias Jr of Jennings, LA; one goddaughter, Martha Faye Jackson, and 44 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives, Loucinda Bias and Phila Mae Bias, three children, Shelby Wilridge, Andrea, Phyllis, and Michael Bias; one nephew who was like a son, Edward Nixon. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel in Jennings, LA. Visitation will be in the Chapel from 11:00 am until the time of religious services. Burial will be in the Eastridge Cemetery of Welsh, LA.
