Mrs. Willie May Dugas was a retired Educator with the Jefferson Davis Parish School System. She went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at her residence. She was born on March 4, 1922 in Natchitoches, LA., to her loving parents, Henry and Effie (Colbert) Spikes. She was 93 years of age and a resident of Jennings, LA. Willie May was a faithful member of Mallalieu United Methodist Church in Jennings, LA., Pastored by Kimberly Richard. She was a graduate of Grambling State University and a member of the Eastern Star in Jennings, LA. She is survived by her two sons; Jerome Dugas and Dwight Dugas, both of Jennings, LA; 13-grandchildren and 23-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcelan Dugas; 1 son, Clarence Willis; both parents Henry Spikes and Effie Colbert Spikes. Visitation is Saturday, March 28, 2015 in David J. and Rosa W. Fondel Church Chapel from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Kimberly Richard Officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
