Wilton Joseph Ason, 42, a resident of Jennings, LA., passed away on April 14, 2019 in a Lafayette Hospital.  Wilton was born on September 16, 1976 in Lafayette, LA. to Nola Ann Ason and Wilton Christian.  Wilton was employed with Key Energy as an Oil Field Safety Instructor.

Wilton is survived by his wife, Tracy Ason of Jennings, LA; three children, Rakeisha Vasha Ason, Cordarrious Joseph Ason, and Omesha Tranae Williams; two brothers, Brian Ason and Jason Ason; two grandchildren, Avah Ason and Symaria Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Wilton was preceded in death by his mother, Nola Ason Jones; father, Wilton Christian; stepfather, Harold Jones.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church,  920 S. Broadway Street in Jennings, LA. 70546.  Father Jude Fernando will officiate.  Visiting will be in the Church  from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Celebration Services.  Burial will be in Peterson Memorial Cemetery in Jennings, LA. under the direction Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
