Mr. Wilton Jones, Jr ., age 58 passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Jennings American Legion Hospital.  He was  a native and life-long resident of Jennings, LA.  Wilton was born on March 23, 1958 to the late Elizabeth Alexander Jones and Wilton Jones, Sr.  He was employed as a Stock Clerk at Hanson's Super Foods.

Wilton is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Tessie Guillory Jones; children, Wiltonetta Marie Jones (Lawrence) Samuel of Daphne, AL , and Wilton Jones, III of Jennings, LA; grandchildren, Audrienne Samuel, Jamarcus Samuel, Brandon Samuel and Nariah of Daphine, AL., Jewel I. Jones, Wilton Jones, IV. and Ty'Leon W. Jones, all of Jennings, LA; sisters, Mary Mouton of Pflugerville, TX, Glenda (James) Redeaux, Viney  Edwards and Janet Jones of Jennings, LA., Sarah Jones Galloway and Wilda Jones of Austin, TX., Alfreda Jones of Georgetown, TX., Patricia Jack of Lake Charles, LA., Diana Bonner and Barbara Gordon of Bay City, TX., Linda (Arthur Lee) Mouton Jones of Crowley, LA. and Angelique Ramos of Lafayette, LA; brothers, Barnaby (Lisa) Jones, Alvin Jones and Tracy (Hattie) Jones of Jennings, LA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilton Jones, Sr; mother, Elizabeth Jones; granddaughter, Lauren Elise Samuel.  Funeral arrangements are scheduled for 10:00 am on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Semien-Lewis Mortuary in the David J. and Rosa W. Fondel Church Chapel, located at 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA.  Visitation will be from 8:00 am until the time of funeral in the funeral home church chapel.  Interment will be in the Peterson Cemetery in Jennings, LA., under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
