Wynn Dale Wilridge

Wynn Dale Wilridge, 68, of Crowley, Louisiana, transitioned from earthly labor on Monday, June 29, 2026, at his residence.   Wynn was born on August 22, 1957, to Homer Wilridge Sr. and Lettie Mae Davis-Wilridge.  Wynn was educated in the Acadia Parish School System and was a faithful member of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Crowley, LA., pastored by Reverend Sherard M. Joseph.

Wynn is survived by his mother, Lettie Mae Wilridge of Crowley, LA; two brothers, Kelvin Wilridge (Deborah) of Lafayette, LA. and Byron Wilridge Sr. (Sonjatina) of Crowley, LA; one sister, Mardessa Poydras (Thomas) of Crowley, LA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

Wynn was preceded in death by his father, Homer Wilridge Sr; two brothers, Homer Wilridge Jr. and Bryain Wilridge; his maternal grandparents, Lula Sanderford, Felix Sanderford, and Herman Davis; his paternal grandparents, Thomas Wilridge Sr. and Wittie Wilridge.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 927 W. 7th Street in Crowley, LA.  Visiting with family and friends will be held in the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Celebration Services.  Burial will be in the West Crowley Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
